Tricia Kyzer Educator Tricia Kyzer has done much of the Outdoor Education curriculum for Jocassee Wild. She has a BS in Elementary Education from North Greenville University and has worked in Environmental Education at Lake Conestee Nature Park, as well as teaching sciences to school-age children for ten years. She is a certified trainer in Project WET, Project Learning Tree, Project WILD, and LEP. She also is part of the Monarch Teacher network. Tricia is a Statewide South Carolina Master Naturalist, has hiked the entire Foothills Trail (twice!), and is a woods-wanderer and salamander-finder extraordinaire. Currently she divides her time between Jocassee and the Trails Carolina Theraputic Wilderness program. Her passion is to bring kids of all ages outside to feel the dirt under their feet, hug trees and splash in rivers. She enjoys spending as much of her free time as she can exploring, writing about her journeys, and taking pictures. Tricia has four extraordinary grown children who are joining her in the effort to make the world a better place. |
